■ Unit 12 핵심 문법
조건을 나타내는 if와 unless는 명령문 뒤에 and 또는 or를 사용한 문장으로 바꿔 쓸 수 있습니다.
If+긍정 조건, 주어+will ... = 명령문, and+주어+will ...
‘~하면 …할 것이다’라는 뜻을 나타냅니다.
If+부정 조건, 주어+will ... = Unless+긍정 조건, 주어+will ... = 명령문, or+주어+will ...
‘~하지 않으면 …할 것이다’라는 뜻을 나타냅니다.
예: If you hurry, you will catch the bus.
서두르면 버스를 탈 것이다.
예: Hurry, and you will catch the bus.
서둘러라. 그러면 버스를 탈 것이다.
예: Unless you hurry, you will miss the bus.
서두르지 않으면 버스를 놓칠 것이다.
예: Hurry, or you will miss the bus.
서둘러라. 그렇지 않으면 버스를 놓칠 것이다.
다음 순서로 학습해 보세요.
1단계: 주어진 단어를 올바른 순서로 배열합니다.
2단계: 빈칸에 문맥에 알맞은 and, or, if 또는 unless를 씁니다.
3단계: 한국어만 보고 조건과 결과의 관계에 맞는 영어 문장을 직접 씁니다.
